We stock a large selection or smudge sticks and herbs in a variety of sizes. To smudge is to purify or clear negativity with Smoke from certain sacred herbs. The sacred ritual of purifying with smoke comes from native peoples in both North and South America. Smudge bundles for safety are recommended to be ignited over a ceramic bowl containing sand. Gently blow upon the glowing embers to produce smoke. Smoke may be used to purify the body, home, office, healing rooms or any environment. Gently blow or fan (traditionally with feathers) until your ceremony or your dwelling and all those concerned are lovingly cleansed by smoke and the rich earthy aromas of burning herbs. The smoke of smudging sticks can be used as an everyday cleanser of your surroundings and energy field, especially in times of confusion and negative energy. Light the stick at any time during the day, if and when the need arises, circulating it around your body and your surroundings, letting the smoke clear and dissipate all unwanted energies and thoughts allowing cleansing to take place. Use you creativity and intuition to make your own ritual or meditation. You cannot make a mistake if your intent is clear and your heart is in the right place. After smudging, extinguish bundle in sand and store for future use.
